ABOUT
INCOGNITO is a streetwear, anime inspired brand created and manufactured in the heart of Montreal. Designed with the intention of making lovers of the anime genre feel represented by their clothing, as well as making newcomers feel welcomed and inspired by the community, it began as a passion project between friends. Eventually, the team’s mission evolved into something much deeper: the desire to be able to represent Montreal and its culture in a unique way that this city hasn’t seen before. By combining knowledge and networks, the vision for the brand has gone from simply wishing to recognize one of our own, to also be able to give love back to the city that raised us. While putting out quality clothing that can be worn by anyone and everyone, the brand aims to use its platform to uplift Montreal voices and talent.

I’m the owner and creator of Incognito Mtl. As a leader, my objective is to uplift each member of this talented team and provide them with all the resources and guidance necessary for their success. Growing up in a mixed ethnicity household, I’ve always connected with the spirit of Mtl. Montreal’s culture of diversity has always reflected a huge part of who I am. I’m born and raised in the 514, this is my city. I speak for the whole Incognito Mtl team when I say we just want to give back to the city that raised us!

Katrina Thomas
My role within the company is to manage all things related to marketing, most specifically for our social media. While I was born and raised in Montreal, my parents are first and second-gen immigrants from the west indies. Montreal has always been home to me, and this city’s deep-rooted culture has had huge impacts on my perspective of the world.

Youssef Semlali
My role as a member of the Incognito Mtl team is primarily as production manager. I take care of the clothes being made, shipped, and handled. I also take care of the editing for our social media platforms. I was born and raised in Montreal, but I come from a Tunisian immigrant family. The 514 has been the city that raised me and is a space where anyone of any culture can express their heritage freely. From fashion to culture, Montreal has found a way to influence every part of who I am.
